Choosing the Right Pipe Stamp
What pipe material you’re stamping and how flat or curved that area determines which steel stamp or die is best for you. For flat pipe surfaces, a die can often be a great solution. A handstamp, however, provides better results when stamping a curved pipe shank or bowl. When stamping briar or cherry, a sharp face stamp is a must, and we recommend a simpler design for the best results.
Our standard pipe options are as follows:
- Square/rectangular stock at 3.25″ length (Length can be adjusted)
- Round stock to fit drill press at 3.25″ length (Length can be adjusted. Works best on a flat area)
- Stamp fitted to small handle (Favored option for pressing in by hand)
